You probably go snowboarding because you enjoy what it does for your mind and your body. Here are some other ways you can make your life better. Some may even improve your snowboarding in the process, while you’ll have to enjoy others on their own terms.
Winter
Building quinzhees — no hill needed, just snow and some muscle power
Nordic (cross-country) skiing — a great workout with some opportunities for sliding downhill
Sledding — for most people, the first form of snow sliding they experience
Snow skating — sliding on the snow with a skateboard deck, without the wheels
Snow surfing — a primitive form of snowboarding
Snow tubing — hold on, you might be going fast and out of control
Summer activities
Kickscooters — simple child’s play, and sometimes more
Sailing — a balance activity on the water
