    I have seen it done both ways, outside and inside. I prefer inside. I ride at Killington and Stowe in Vermont and at Revelstone in BC and they have gondolas. No complaints from either riders or skiers. Go with the flow.

    There is something to that, though it’s less of an issue if you’re riding on wide-open slopes with sufficient skier traffic. On the other hand, yes, you should have a companion, or better two, when heading into the trees.
